SOWAREEN Solutions AG allows access to water. For everyone. At any time. Worldwide and at the lowest cost.

Since 2002, renowned scientists from the TUHH (Technical University of Hambug) have been carrying out research into water recycling processes at the Institute of Waste Water Management and Water Pollution Control in collaboration with us and our partners.

In the process, two sub-streams have been separately recorded.

  • Blackwater (toilets, urinals, manure, sewage sludge, etc.)
  • Greywater (bathroom, kitchen, washing, pre-clarified wastewater from sewage treatment plants, etc.)

The core technology is a method by which the blackwater from toilets and urinals etc. (30 - 50 l / PE*d) can be reused again and again, and self-contained, decentralised rinsing water is produced, or the purified water can be reused as industrial water in agriculture.

We prepare grey water (from 60 to 1000 litres per person per day)  to produce deionised water as a by-product of the production of drinking water. By adding mineral salts, drinking water of any desired quality can come from the tap.

Scaled from 2,000 m³/h. The technical capacity of our plants is unlimited due to their modular construction. For practical use, this means that we can optimally perform sewage disposal and industrial water and drinking water production, including for individual buildings (from about 200 people as daily users), operational facilities (e.g. in agriculture or existing bio-gas plants), as well as for mega cities with several million inhabitants.

Existing waste systems and sewage treatment plants can be optimised for buildings, operational facilities, and cities, and currently non-existing waste systems and new decentralised wastewater treatment systems can be designed and built!

For us, this means providing water for the benefit of people. Our services are:

  • Our methods allow almost 100% water self-sufficiency and thus provide unrivalled savings in water
  • The modules always pave the way to no waste water
  • With sophisticated process management, we produce a 95% pure nitrogen fertilizer and a more than 90% pure phosphorus fertilizer, separated out during water purification
  • From the solids in the black water we produce valuable Terra Preta
  • By retaining all drugs and pollutants, the Intaqua process is a high-value zero-emission conceptAll processes are protected by international patents
  • In addition, the methods  open up completely new and locally required lucrative supply chains
  • For planners, local self-sufficiency in combination with energy facilites results in substantially improved planning security.
