Operation and Maintenance

 

SOWAREEN Solutions AG attaches great importance to a sound and economically viable operating concept for all of our solutions.

After all, the operating concept is of central importance. The operator of one of our solutions/applications generally expects an operational life of 20 years, and depends on a payback on their investment in this time. During the planned operational life, the operator must handle a range of different challenges. From regular maintenance to fault and repair work, regular cleaning of components to planned and scheduled renovations to the system or of key parts thereof.

With regard to the operating strategy, which is closely integrated with spare parts strategies and service agreements tailored to individual projects, different objectives with different approaches can be pursued. Is maintenance to be carried out by permanent staff or by an external service provider? What role do manufacturers of key components play? Are they just suppliers or are they active operating partners? What renewal strategy is applied? How frequently are parts subject to wear and tear replaced?

This is just a brief look at the definitions for operation of the system which have to be considered - in coordination with the insurer and the financier.
