SOWAREEN Solutions AG offers technical and market-leading expertise in waste recycling management and the tools used in this connnection (e.g. charging systems), or technical facilites, within its target markets developed in Germany.

The technical and economic capacities of our solutions are scaled in such a way that we can implement a sustainable waste management cycle for metropolitan areas and their surrounding regions with populations between 250,000 to 4 million, or with household waste from 70,000 up to about 1 million tonnes/year.

We transfer the experience we have gained to the requirements of our target markets and customers, introducing in particular our cross-cultural expertise in the development of waste processing structures, from the collection of the waste to its treatment. We have already repeatedly proved our expertise in transferring our collective experience to other target markets and projects.

The core areas of our waste management cycle are:

• The design and management of waste logistics, including the technical infrastructure for the collection and sorting of household, commercial and industrial waste
• Providing consultancy for our partners and customers when designing and developing charging systems for refinancing, and management of finances for necessary investments
• The screening of hazardous wastes, and their environmentally friendly temporary storage and additional special treatment (e.g. medical waste).
• The specific treatment of waste for optimum material and energy recovery in specially optimised treatment centres. The result is a substitute fuel (RDF), which can be used to generate electrical energy, as well as heating
• The screening and processing of construction aggregates and other selected recycling materialsEnvironmentally sound disposal of the remaining residues which no longer pose a threat to the environment.
  

A further focal point of the discussion in this segment is the handling of contaminated sites and existing landfills.

Especially in emerging countries, these were often simply set up without proper technical and operational concepts, and often present a significant risk to human health and the environment. Here we provide:

• Advice on "decomissioning" of existing landfills, with the aim of disposing of the recyclable materials they contain (plastic, paper, wood, textiles) in an environmentally friendly way, at optimal cost, for the production of electrical energy.

SOWAREEN Solutions AG achieves a recycling rate of more than 90%! Only the residues from the gasification process and the residues previously contained in the waste and associated with heavy metals, and a small amount of unusable particulates remain.
