Humanity's treatment of the scarce water resources has deteriorated dramatically in the past. At the centre of this development is a water management system that is not consistently embedded within natural water cycles. Common water supply and waste water management has a negative effect on the availability, quality, and cost of water.
INTAQUA AG's answer to this problem: used water is already available, and is the cheapest source of water that can be used. Wherever people live together, a great deal of water is used and consumed. After use this water is indeed contaminated, but it can be treated and cleaned such that it becomes a reusable resource.
Intaqua has developed a novel technology for low-cost water recycling plants. It is based on more than 10 years of microbiological and technical processing research. At the core of this technology are high-performance bacteria, combined with a nano-filtration technology that enables the purification of water to drinking water quality. Even the slightest contamination, such as medication residues, can be removed from the water cycle.
We can thus enable the highest possible degree of self-sufficiency with regard to water, with a direct impact on a country's waste water infrastructure, including within the major metropolitan areas.
Decentralized design of necessary infrastructure is becoming increasingly possible, which simultaneously improves the local water resources and results in huge cost savings for municipalities, businesses, and households.
